About the Studio & Mothh

Classes at Amahh train the body to effort-LESS using the ancient wisdom Chinese Medicine in the form of Qigong. Transformation and relief comes from intentional relaxation and gently guiding energy through the body through intention.

Qigong is not just movement. It’s not just meditation. It’s not just breathwork. It integrates emotional regulation, physical coordination, mental clarity, and even seasonal correspondence into one coherent practice. Nothing is isolated, because nothing in the universe actually works in isolation.

A single session shifts the nervous system and emotional state because it works with the body’s natural intelligence, not against it.  Qigong reorganizes the whole system at once, breath, movement, attention, emotion, and energy working together.

Gentle Mothh (she/her) is a queer, Taiwanese American artist and the founder of Amahh Studio Qigong, a membership-based live virtual qigong studio.  Her practice blends advocacy, performance, and spiritual inquiry. She is the author of Giving Body, a photo book organized through 5 Element Theory honoring the communal roots of erotic labor. She is a lifelong student of energetics versed in Pranic Healing and Human Design.

An Invitation to Practice Together

AMMAH Studio is for people who value presence, care, and conscious choice, whether you are completely new to Qigong or returning to a practice after time away. There is no requirement to show up a certain way, only an invitation to be curious and open to what you experience.

If you feel drawn to this way of moving and thinking, slow, attentive, and grounded in real life , you are welcome to join a live class and see how the practice lands in your own body.
